Introducing Snap Member………….
Name - Talia Prior
How long have you been a Snap member – Just over 6 months. From the 2nd of February 2015
What is your weekly gym routine? 4 days a week:
Mon - 4 km swim or Circuit Class, Tues - 4km swim, Thurs - 3km swim or rowing, cycling and weights, Fri - Circuit Class
Favourite exercise: Swimming. I did squad training as a kid and since I have bad knees, I eventually ended up in the pool the most.
Favourite healthy food: Boiled eggs and salmon
Favourite fast food or cheat day meal: Chocolate & Pizza
What takes up most of your time outside of the gym (eg. Own your own business, kids/family, job – what job) I have 3 young boys aged 6, 4, & 2. They keep me quite busy most of the time. I also own a small sewing business called Pink Gumboots where I make and sell children's clothing and accessories. I sell them on Facebook & at markets. This has taken a back seat lately since I've been concentrating on getting healthy.
Your greatest achievement – in the gym and out of the gym: Loosing 18.3kg since the 20th of January (just under 7 months) Outside the gym, I've have to say becoming a mum to my boys, closely followed by earning my degree in Marketing and Food Nutrition just over 10 years ago.
Your Favourite movie and/ or book: I have so many favourite movies but a standout would have to be Star Wars (although the Notebook is right up there too)
Best holiday destination: Coral Coast, Fiji.
What keeps you motivated and on track:
* Wanting to achieve my New Years Resolution/goal for once in my life
* Wanting to be healthy, fit and look good
* Motivational quotes on Pinterest
* Inspiring music up loud in the car on the way to the gym
* Weighing myself daily and tracking my weight on an app
* Wanting to prove people wrong who say I can't do it
* Support from friends and family
